It's been a long couple of days on the road! I flew from Dallas on Monday March 20th to St. Louis after a great weekend of shows in the DFW area and hosting my parents for the first time since I moved to Dallas.
I packed up a rental mini van, loaded it to the gills, and jumped on 64E to 57s to 24E and over through Nashville and stopped in Chatanooga TN for the night. Got back on the road early the next morning to end up in Peachtree city GA for a corporate event. There, I got to see some great friends I don't get to see that often, including Rob who helped me set-up all of the equipment for the event.
Once that was over I jumped back in the van and made it all the way to Richmond VA last night. Back at it this morning and stopped at Cracker Barrel to see why they fired Brad's wife. After breakfast I kept driving and made it to my next stop in Alexandria VA to get ready for Virginia Zeta Day tomorrow morning. 700-800 of my favorite people in Virginia in one room! (And they're all women)
After the show tomorrow I hop back in the van and head to Chicago for a 3 day event starting on Sunday evening.
Once that is over on Tuesday afternoon, I head back to St. Louis to hop a flight at 6am back to Dallas to pick up another rental vehicle to drive to Phoenix to start 4 days of shows around the area followed by a day of recording some new originals.
Back at it on Tuesday heading to Santa Fe NM for 2 nights, then back to Dallas to hop a flight to Cleveland OH for Ohio Zeta Day on April 8th. Finally back in Dallas on the 9th for an "extended period of time"
I've been writing a ton of new material and I can't wait for you all to hear it.
I also joined a group for Dallas Songwriters since I've been on the road. It should be a great way to collaborate with some other musicians in Dallas. Stay tuned!
This is my life.
